Job Responsibilities:
We're always open to considering great School Speech Language Pathologists to join our team. In this role, you'll work remotely, providing crucial assessments and treatment for speech and language disorders in a school setting. As a virtual Speech Language Pathologist with The Speech Language Pathologists, you will take on a variety of key responsibilities aimed at fostering the success of students ages 3-21. Your role will include:
Assessment and Diagnosis: assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
Customized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address individual needs.
Remote Therapy Sessions: Conduct engaging remote therapy sessions to support students' speech and language development.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and fellow professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Documentation: Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation of student progress. In this role, you will also collaborate with a team of general and special education teachers, school administrators, counselors, teaching assistants, and other specialists to support your students' development.
Requirements
Active state license as an SLP
ASHA Certified
2 years of school based experience, including Clinical Fellowship Year, or 3 years of total clinical experience, including Clinical Fellowship Year
Schedule flexibility and interest in working across time-zones
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Proficient with technology & modern tools.
